This is a chain machine modified for the production of single links, controlled by a PLC capable of managing speed and wire progress. This means that the machine, in addition to the single link, can produce two or three connected links, then cut in order to mount the “garibaldi” chain. In order to change the link shape it is sufficient to replace the iron rod, mounted in the machine, with one of the desired shape. The machine can also process wire of different sections and dimensions.
The preferred application of this machine is the production of single links for chain produced with solid or “aggraffato” wire in automatic mode. In addition the machine can be equipped with an electronic wire-guide for the reading of the copper line located in the wire.
