RECOMMENDED USE
The packing shears are used in Goldsmith production cycles. They are particularly employed during the shearing of metallic plates. The specific feature of this kind of shears is represented by the fact they have got a set of fixed extension cut sheets, which empower the machine to be extremely precise during the realization of calibrated width metal sheet.

CHARACTERISTICS
Through hardened steel shears, the slitting machine is designed to cut the sheet to the required width, depending on the thickness of the installed shears.
The cutting quality is extremely precise, as the operation is performed on both sides of the sheet. Therefore, any change in cutting width necessarily requires the replacement or addition of the shears. Once cut, the sheet is wound onto a frictioncontrolled recoiler system, ensuring the formation of a perfectly uniform coil.
The machine is equipped with a variable speed drive and a foot pedal control, allowing easy and efficient operation.
The minimum workable thickness is 0.05 mm, while the maximum thickness is 1 mm; for thicker materials, an oversized shear block is required.
