CUSTOM MACHINERY.

SEGA SPIRALI AUTOMATICA

The machine is designed for the automatic assembly of piercing studs into dedicated retaining shells.

The shells and studs are fed by two separate vibratory feeders, which ensure correct orientation and controlled delivery of each component. A conveyor belt transfers the shells to the assembly station, positioning them precisely at the stud insertion point.

A pneumatic piston system inserts and securely locks the stud into the shell. A second piston then performs a punching operation that reduces the diameter of the shell opening, creating the correct seat for the piercing needle stem.

Throughout the cycle, fibre-optic sensors check the presence and correct positioning of the components, ensuring consistent assembly operations and reliable process performance.

Tavola rotante step

The machine has been designed to automatically perform quality inspection of components and accessories for the jewellery industry.

The system operates by positioning the item to be inspected at the centre of the machine. The rotary table supporting the component rotates it continuously, allowing the three cameras integrated into the internal enclosure to capture the object from all angles and perform a complete 360° inspection for defect detection.

The system is based on AI-powered visual inspection. Defect samples and relevant quality parameters are used to train the artificial intelligence, enabling the machine to identify and classify imperfections during the inspection process.

Loading and unloading of the components are performed manually by the operator.
